I had been eyeing this desk for some time, and one day I finally noticed the bookshelf on the backside and had to have it! It is large, heavy, and perfect for all of the items I need for work and school. Storage was a must-have for me, and the four drawers are perfect! The bookshelf is a wonderful surprise for everyone and perfect to display a few of my favorite books, objects, and a photo; and the look of the wood-grain warms up my industrial-modern space perfectly. It took me (a 32 year old female, by myself) around 1.5-2 hours to put together. I can't stress this enough - it is HEAVY. Put it together in the room you will keep it, especially if you live alone. And be sure to use the wood glue included for additional sturdiness.

Solid feeling inexpensive desk. Good size, decent storage, sturdy feel. No wobble at all. Took about 1.5 hours to assemble. Overall happy with my purchase with one caveat - I had to remove the middle shelf entirely. With the shelf installed my chair (just a regular office chair) would not even fit on the lowest setting, let alone me sitting in it! See my attached picture and note that my chair barely fits without the shelf. Removing the shelf makes the desk usable and actually improves the aesthetic, IMO.

Love this desk and the look I was going for in the room. It’s a laminate which I didn’t initially realize when buying but I was on a budget and clearly why this was less expensive than the other desk I was comparing it to. But it is heavy, and solid and really pretty. Other than the laminate, it’s not cheap looking. I love it!
